Exercise Your Rights – Vote!

Brother Knight,

Tomorrow, millions of Americans will go to the polls not only to pick the next president of the United States, but also to decide the outcome of thousands of Congressional, state and local elections and ballot initiatives. As Catholics, members of the Knights of Columbus should vote and encourage other members of their families, parishes and communities to vote. As Pope Francis reminded us, all Catholics should study the issues, pray and “choose in conscience.”

Many people, especially some senior citizens and people with disabilities, have trouble getting to the polls on voting day. If you are able, help fellow Catholics get to the polls to exercise their right to vote.

Know your polling place? Find out here.

It is not an exaggeration to say that this election will crucially affect the fate of our republic. To paraphrase Supreme Knight Carl Anderson, this is the time for Knights of Columbus to step up to bring greater Catholic influence and values into our electoral process. So get out and vote!

Please also join us in praying the Knights of Columbus National Novena Prayer in Preparation for the Election.

Thank you and may God Bless America.

Vivat Jesus!
